We don’t think any movie has managed to leave us feeling so uneasy and messed up after watching it as much as Midsommar did. The movie makes you so uncomfortable it feels like you shouldn’t be watching it. This is what makes it one of the best psychological horror type movies to ever exist.

At its core, this is one of the most messed up films you will ever watch making it worth every second of your time. The filmmaker did such an astounding job with the movie and we absolutely loved it. That feeling of uneasiness is what makes movies similar to Midsommar so appealing to you and us.

We’re glad to tell you that there are a few movies that are able to make you feel uncomfortable like Midsommar. Though they may not be on that level because honestly, Midsommar is simply in a different league of its own, these movies are still terrifying to watch and will give you that feeling of unease.

The Graham family has suffered a massive loss with the Matriarch passing away. Things begin to unravel for the daughter and grandchildren not long after.

They begin to uncover some dark and sinister secrets no one could have expected. Their ancestry isn’t what it seems and the further they dig, the darker the secrets become. Against all odds, the family is now trying to outrun the evil fate that they had recently inherited.

This one also involves a cult much like Midsommar. This movie also has moments just as gruesome and just as shocking as Midsommar as well. If you haven’t seen this one we definitely recommend you give it a watch.

He is particularly interested in Willow (Britt Ekland), the daughter of  Lord Summerisle (Christopher Lee), the island’s magistrate. As he continues to investigate Howie continues to inch closer to the answers he needs to find the missing child.
