We don’t think any movie has managed to leave us feeling so uneasy and messed up after watching it as much as Midsommar did. The movie makes you so uncomfortable it feels like you shouldn’t be watching it. This is what makes it one of the best psychological horror type movies to ever exist. At its core, this is one of the most messed up films you will ever watch making it worth every second of your time. The filmmaker did such an astounding job with the movie and we absolutely loved it. We had to add a classic to this list and what better than The Wicker Man! If you watch this you may realize that there are a bunch of similarities between Midsommar and this one. However, it is not a remake. Though some inspiration was taken from it!
