The twins of the family accuse Thomasin of using witchcraft which sends the family spiraling toward destruction even faster.
2. The Babadook
Don’t say it or think it or the Babadook will come after you. You will have nightmares about this creature after watching this movie, and you definitely won’t want to be alone in the dark. We can tell you that for sure! Cautiously give this one a watch if you haven’t already.

This is why you will never catch us working for a company that has the power to ruin someone’s life. Because, next thing you know, someone puts a curse on you, your life is ruined, and there is nothing you can do about it! This was a petrifying movie, and you definitely need to give it a watch.

Afterward, the old lady returns for revenge and puts a curse on Christine. Suffering the wrath of the curse, Christine vigorously looks for help and learns that she only has three days to break the curse before spending eternity in Hell.

So this movie is absolutely insane! All you have to do is watch the trailer to get a glimpse of what we are talking about. That quick minute and eighteen seconds will, without a doubt, cover your body in goosebumps! Imagine watching the entire thing.

This will take the cake as one of the more unique and ominously weird movies on this list. We don’t think we have seen another movie that does what this movie does in this fashion. You’ll have to watch it and see what we’re talking about. It’s definitely worth the watch!

Jay (Maika Monroe) goes on a date with a charming guy named Hugh (Jake Weary). As things intensify, the two sleep with each other. Jay discovers that Hugh had a curse which he passed onto her through sex. She soon learns the frightening reality that the person carrying the curse has a mysterious entity that follows them intending to kill them. The entity disguises itself as a friend or stranger. The only way to get rid of the curse, and the entity, is to have sex and pass it on to someone else. If the cursed person dies, the curse returns to the previous holder. Jay must convince her friends to believe her and help her or she will meet a gruesome end.
7. Goodnight Mommy
For the final of the movies like Hereditary, we have the freakish Goodnight Mommy. This one really makes us wonder, how well do we really know those closest to us? If you are looking for something to fear, then this is the right movie for you!
