2. The Shining

Obviously this is going to be on the list of movies like Doctor Sleep! It’s what happens before the events of the film! It’s also one of the greatest movies ever! If for some reason you haven’t seen it then go ahead and give it a watch.

However as time goes on, his writing continues to go nowhere. Wandering around the hotel, Jack begins to make some disturbing discoveries which inevitably lead him to lose his mind. His only goal is to terrorize and hunt down his family.

One of the best psychological horror-thriller movies to come out these past years is this one right here. You’ll think that you know what’s going on and then it’ll hit you like a train. Its a great watch!

Rose invites him for a weekend trip to meet her family. However, as the weekend goes on things begin to get disturbing and even more strange. As Chris investigates he finally uncovers the sinister truth about his girlfriend’s family.

A kinky sex game gone horribly wrong! This is another crazy Stephen King story. We would love to see what goes on in his mind because he really creates some incredible masterpieces.

This is very similar to Doctor Sleep in the sense that it’s set with the adult versions of the original film! This right here is the scariest clown to ever exist so if you want a good story and want some nightmares then give this one a try.

Mike Hanlon (Isaiah Mustafa) decides to call the group together to make a last stand against Pennywise and end this once and for all. But there’s nothing that can prepare them for how powerful the evil clown has become.

6. Misery

We can’t even imagine going through something as crazy as this! A fan gone completely crazy. It must be a true fear for anyone with fame to ever end up in a horrifying situation like this.

Recently involved in a horrendous car crash, Paul Sheldon (James Caan), a novelist, is rescued by former nurse Annie Wilkes (Kathy Bates). Coincidentally, Annie tells him she’s his biggest fan. She takes Sheldon to a cabin for him to recover. However, things take a turn for the worse when her obsession with him gets dark. Annie isn’t pleased when she finds out that Sheldon is killing off her favorite characters in her novel. Due to her menacing and controlling nature, Sheldon begins to plan his escape. However, things get increasingly violent as she forces Sheldon to write the story how she believes it should be written.

Once unmasked, they unveil they have the exact same faces as the Wilson family.
