Three men set out on an expedition to explore uncharted territory in 1823. However, this expedition may be their last. After a bear attack that leaves him nearly dead, frontiersman Hugh Glass (Leonardo DiCaprio) now lays in his own blood unable to move. His team abandons him and now Hugh still incapacitated from his injuries must fight for his life alone in the dangerous unknown wilderness.
