During the escape, Furiosa forms an alliance with Max Rockatansky (Tom Hardy) as they try and outrun the army chasing them. They must rely on their knowledge of the wasteland as they make their escape in a fortified truck known as the War Rig.

The Earth has endured a second Ice Age leaving nearly no survivors. Those who did manage to survive now reside on a luxury train on a continuous journey through snow and ice. The train has split up into sections dividing the poor and the rich from one another.

However, the poor have become tired of how they are forced to live and have planned to take over the train. They must make a treacherous journey to the engine room in order to improve their way of life.
