For the first film on this Tom Cruise movies list, we have Edge of Tomorrow! This is an absolutely phenomenal action-packed alien film! The physics of this movie will also take your brain for a little ride. If you haven’t seen this, we highly recommend giving it a watch!

William Cage (Tom Cruise), a military officer, has never seen battle before. However, that’s all about to change when Earth comes under attack from what seems to be an undefeatable alien race known as the Mimics. On William’s first mission he ends up dying almost immediately. But something went wrong when he died because he simply woke up at the beginning of the day again. William continues through this brutal cycle of living the day out and dying once again. But, every time he lives through the day again, his fighting skills and senses improve. For any hope of breaking the cycle and defeating the Mimics, William must find Rita Vrataski (Emily Blunt), one of the best warriors to walk the planet.

2. Mission: Impossible – Fallout

Alright so we think this goes without saying but every single Mission Impossible movie is amazing! We just chose this one because we believe it stands out at the front of the pack! The action in this movie will have the adrenaline almost seeping out of you making you wish you were as badass as Ethan Hunt! Give it a watch, it’s worth every second.

Forced to join forces with the CIA, Ethan Hunt (Tom Cruise) and the rest of the IMF team must comply or face the consequences. Solomon Lane (Sean Harris) has escaped their custody. Not only that but a case of plutonium has gone missing. The Apostles, a terrorist group, along with Solomon plan on doing something catastrophic. Now, together with CIA agent August Walker (Henry Cavil), the team must find all the plutonium before a series of devastating explosions threaten the lives of hundreds of thousands of people.

3. Jack Reacher

You don’t want to end up on this man’s bad side, or you can expect to pay a visit to the hospital. Jack Reacher is one of the most alpha motherf*ckers out there. If you are looking for some incredible action that never stops, you have to give this one a watch.

A sniper with no real, identifiable target shoots and kills five random civilians. The attack seems like a completely random act of violence. However, nothing makes sense, especially the suspect that all the evidence points too. Police have brought in an ex-military sniper named James Barr (Joseph Sikora). However, while interrogating the man all he says is one name, Jack Reacher (Tom Cruise). Reacher is a top of the line ex-army investigator who ran in the same squad as Barr. Initially, Reacher believes Barr is guilty, however, the more he looks into the case, the more convinced he becomes that someone has set Barr up.

4. War Of The Worlds

Another fantastic Tom Cruise movie involving aliens! He should really make more because there’s nothing better than Tom Cruise and aliens in the same movie! You may not have heard of this one, but we definitely recommend that you give it a watch. You won’t regret it!

A divorced dockworker named Ray Ferrier (Tom Cruise) doesn’t have the best of relationships with his children Rachel (Dakota Fanning) and Robbie (Justin Chatwin). His ex-wife drops the kids off at his house for the weekend, and it seems as though it’ll turn out to be yet another weekend of Ray struggling to mend his relationship with his children. However, without warning, a strange thunderstorm hits causing a blackout that knocks out all the power across the area. When Ray goes to investigate, he finds that aliens have invaded Earth and have begun killing everyone. He rushes back to his house to grab the kids and the three now fight for their lives as they attempt to find a safe haven.

5. American Made

Imagine the CIA recruiting you to do surveillance for them and you also end up working with a drug cartel! You can’t even begin to wrap your head around the amount of money this man made! Give it a watch; it’s worth your time.

A pilot named Barry Seal (Tom Cruise) catches the attention of the CIA with his perfect flight record. The CIA wants Barry to provide them with surveillance of Central America. Barry accepts and now leads one of the most extensive covert operations put into play by the CIA. However, Barry becomes blind with power and money. Early into this new career, he begins trafficking drugs for the cartel and makes more money than he would have ever thought possible. But now the DEA and the FBI are on his scent, and the CIA may not have the ability to protect him this time.

6. The Last Samurai

Okay, depending on your age, this is another movie that you may not have heard about. It’s definitely a different style of Tom Cruise movie, but it is quite amazing. If you haven’t seen it, we highly recommend you give it a watch!

7. Minority Report

How could we not add Minority Report to this list?! If you know, you know! This movie will have the hairs on the back of your neck standing up! If you haven’t seen it, we highly recommend you give it a watch!

He decided to join the project after the murder of his son years ago. However, John’s name comes up as one of the next men who will commit a murder. Now, John runs from the system he helped to build and must try to prove his innocence.

8. Rain Man

For our final movie on this Tom Cruise movie list, we have a good one! Ah, this movie will, without a doubt, make you very emotional! If you don’t cry at some point during this movie, then we think you may not be human! Give it a watch if you haven’t seen it already.

A car dealer named Charlie Babbitt (Tom Cruise) didn’t have much of a relationship with his father. So when he learns that his father has died, he’s not bothered much by the news. However, he knows that his father had money. This causes him to return to Cincinnati where he discovers he has an autistic older brother named Raymond (Dustin Hoffman). The issue with this is that Charlie’s father left his $3 million fortune to Raymond. With money acting as his only motive, Charlie checks Raymond out of a mental hospital to take him to L.A. However, this trip changes both of their lives for the better.
