Everything is going well until the day arrives when Joe’s bosses want him to close the loop which includes sending Joe’s future self (Bruce Willis) for him to kill, which changes everything.

This time around he has to live through the last minutes of Sean Fentress’ (Frédérick De Grandpré) life who died in a massive commuter train explosion. Colter’s job is to discover the identity of the bomber so that they can prevent any similar event from happening in the future. But as Colter continues to delve into the last minutes of Sean’s life he becomes convinced that he can stop the first bombing from ever occurring as long as he doesn’t run out of time.

So this one doesn’t deal with the time loop side of things but instead deals with the alien invasion part. And we have Tom Cruise once again in trouble with aliens. It’s a great movie and if you like anything to do with aliens you have to give it a watch.

It quickly gets off to a rocky start and it seems as though it’s just going to be another weekend filled with tension. Out of nowhere electromagnetic pulses begin to strike and knock the power out. Ray decides to go investigate what’s going on. He quickly realizes that aliens have begun to attack the Earth and he races back home to protect his children. Now, they must stick together as they try and find refuge from these killer aliens.

4. Triangle

Here we actually have a horror movie! But how in the world can this be like Edge Of Tomorrow!? Trust us, this movie messes with time and will get that heart of yours pounding as well. It has very similar concepts and if you want a little thrill in your life, put this on your big screen.

However, things quickly take a turn for the worse when a dangerous storm emerges threatening everyone’s life. The group is forced to board a large passing ship for safety. Jess believes that the ship looks familiar and as they look around they realize it’s abandoned and seems utterly empty. But they are not alone. As strange events continue to unfold it becomes abundantly clear that something is hunting them down one by one. It seems as though there is no escape from this deadly ship.

5. Oblivion

So for this one, you’ll just have to remember everything is not what it seems! We do know this movie was received with mixed feelings but we still really enjoyed it! It’s a very story-driven movie and you may have a bit of a headache after watching it! If you haven’t seen it it’s worth a watch.

6. Groundhog Day

To end our list of movies like Edge Of Tomorrow we have a classic! Though this isn’t a sci-fi action movie, literally the entire basis of the movie is about being stuck in a time loop. So if you want a funny and even romantic film for a nice change of pace, give this one a try.

Phil Connors (Bill Murray) a weatherman becomes annoyed when he finds himself having been assigned to cover the annual Groundhog Day festivities in a small town named Punxsutawney. The only good thing that comes from this is being around his attractive producer. Things become even worse when Phil finds himself reliving the same day over and over again. This keeps him trapped in the town and it seems as though there isn’t an end. Phil can’t find a way to escape this endlessly looping day so instead, he starts trying to make the best of it for a change.
