Approached by CIA case officer Monty Schafer (Domhnall Gleeson), Barry Seal (Tom Cruise), a TWA pilot may be in for more than he can handle. The CIA wants Barry to fly over Central America taking reconnaissance photos for them. Barry accepts and soon after begins working as a Drug Trafficker with the CIA turning a blind eye.

However, the FBI, DEA, and ATF have caught on to Barry, and the CIA may not be able to help him this time. Not only that, but the Cartel might be looking to cut off loose ends.

A family man named Llewelyn Moss (Josh Brolin) now has a cartel hitman named Anton Chigurh (Javier Bardem) on his tail. Llewelyn’s life changed for the worse when he stumbled upon a drug deal that had gone bad. He decides to search the scene, finding multiple dead bodies and a case full of cash. While Llewelyn’s gut tells him not to, he grabs the case of cash, which contains around 2 million dollars.

Soon after, Llewelyn quickly makes his way back to his home. He later decides to go back to the crime scene and ends up chased by two murderous men in a truck. Llewelyn manages to barely escape and rushes back.

Arriving at his house in a panic, he tells his wife to leave for a while and stay with her mother. He now hides out in a motel with the cash fighting for his life. The hitman is now hot on his trail and has orders to retrieve the money by any means necessary.
