Approached by CIA case officer Monty Schafer (Domhnall Gleeson), Barry Seal (Tom Cruise), a TWA pilot may be in for more than he can handle. While Llewelyn’s gut tells him not to, he grabs the case of cash, which contains around 2 million dollars.
Soon after, Llewelyn quickly makes his way back to his home. He later decides to go back to the crime scene and ends up chased by two murderous men in a truck. Llewelyn manages to barely escape and rushes back.
Arriving at his house in a panic, he tells his wife to leave for a while and stay with her mother. He now hides out in a motel with the cash fighting for his life. The hitman is now hot on his trail and has orders to retrieve the money by any means necessary.
