So maybe you are looking for something a little more kid-friendly that will still have you laughing your butt off.

1. Ferris Bueller’s Day Off
To start off our list of the funniest PG 13 movies out there we have a good ole classic. The movie also has one of the most famous scenes to ever make it in cinema. Watch the movie and see if you can catch it!

But, principal Rooney (Jeffrey Jones) has begun to question Bueller’s school skipping and has plans of catching him in the act of ditching class.

You know you are in for a pleasant surprise when Will Ferrel is in a movie. He may just be one of the funniest men to ever walk this Earth. Anchorman is one of his staples and if you haven’t seen it you should change that now.

Ron Burgundy (Will Ferrell), one of the most popular news anchors on-air, welcomes Veronica Corningstone (Christina Applegate) into the news world. Mostly dominated by men in the 70’s there aren’t many popular women anchors. However, when Veronica begins to gain popularity, Ron’s jealousy gets the best of him. On live television, he lets a vulgar comment slip which ultimately destroys his career. But, Ron sees an opportunity at redemption when a huge story at the San Diego Zoo breaks out.
3. Despicable Me
Okay so this one isn’t PG 13 but it’s one of the most hilarious movies out there. Not only that, but it has two other movies in the series plus a separate movie about the minions themselves! It’s incredibly hilarious and worth every second of screen time.

The infamous villain Gru (Steve Carell), enjoys spending his days doing mischievous things trying to prove he is the best villain in the world. His next evil plan is the biggest of them yet. Gru plans on stealing the moon. He will have the help of his army of minions and won’t let anybody get in his way. However, when three cute orphan girls (Miranda Cosgrove, Dana Gaier, Elsie Fisher) want Gru as their dad, he has never been less prepared for anything in his life.
4. Fighting with My Family
One of the newer films on this list stars the increasingly sought after Dwayne Johnson. This movie is a perfect example of why producers want this guy in their movies so badly. He just completes the film making it amazing to watch.

She will face choices and situations more difficult than she has ever faced. But she knows that she has what it takes and will prove everyone who has doubted her wrong.

5. Daddy’s Home
Nothing quite as funny as the Daddy’s Home movies! The cheesy humor and childish antics of full-grown adults gets you cracking up easily! Both Will Ferrell and Mark Wahlberg are in this movie so you know you can’t go wrong!

They both spend their days trying to one-up each other to impress the kids and win their love and affection over.

6. The Mask
To end our list of funny PG 13 movies we have a Jim Carrey classic. He fits the role in this movie so well because he’s literally exactly like this in real life. He is a hilariously weird man! Give this one a watch if you want a good laugh.

A shy banker named Stanley Ipkiss (Jim Carrey) comes across a powerful and magical mask that contains the spirit of the Norse god Loki. When he decides to put it on, his whole life begins to change. Unlike his old self, Stanley becomes extremely confident, funny, charming, and nearly invincible. With all these life changes he manages to gain the attention of a gorgeous nightclub singer named Tina Carlyle (Cameron Diaz). However, as Ipkiss soon finds out, the mask also has its drawbacks. Under its influence, he ends up robbing a bank, which angers the crime lord Dorian Tyrell (Peter Greene).
