The two of them run into two more men. One of which is another bounty hunter (Samuel L. Jackson) and the other man claims to be a sheriff (Walton Goggins).

The four of them hurry to look for shelter and eventually come upon a stagecoach stopover. They are greeted by 4 strangers when they arrive. As the tension rises between the eight of them, some of them quickly realize they may not make it to their final destinations.

Frank has different plans though and kills McBain to make the job easier. He blames the murder on well-known convict Cheyenne (Jason Robards). Not too long after, a gunslinger and McBain’s wife arrive in town.

Not long into the trip, they come across a widow whose family had been killed. Now, the group must come together and help each other if they have any hope of surviving the treacherous path ahead.
