Though not everything in the film is completely factual as it is just a movie. It just makes it that much more terrifying knowing this is based on real events.

A serial killer that goes by Zodiac terrorizes the residents of San Francisco during the 1960s and 1970s. With the attention the killer has brought to himself, investigators David and William (Mark Ruffalo, Anthony Edwards) along with reporters Robert and Paul (Jake Gyllenhaal, Robert Downey Jr.) want nothing more than uncovering the killer’s identity and finally bringing him to justice.

However, Zodiac proves to be ever-elusive and continues to kill multiple victims all while taunting the authorities relentlessly.

The movie with an unforgettable cast! Seriously, this film has so many huge names in it. Now, in case you didn’t know, there is a Murder on the Orient Express from 1974 which is amazing as well.

This is just a revamped newer version of that. Now as with all remakes, critics have some harsh things to say, but for us normal viewers it’s actually a very fun and entertaining movie to watch!

A trip around Europe on a luxurious train quickly takes a dark turn when a murder takes place. Until proven otherwise, everyone is a suspect in this murder. Not long into the trip, an Avalanche prevents the Orient Express from continuing the journey.

At which point Hercule Poirot (Kenneth Branagh), known as the world’s greatest detective, arrives to begin interrogating every passenger on board. He must race against time before the unknown killer takes another victim.

Jimmy Marcus (Sean Penn) an ex-convict has suffered a mortifying loss. His daughter Katie (Emmy Rossum) has been murdered. Not only that, but two of Jimmy’s childhood friends are involved in the case. One of them, Dave (Tim Robbins), was the last person to see Katie alive.

While Sean (Kevin Bacon), is the homicide detective at the head of the investigation. Jimmy decides to start his own investigation while the police continue theirs. Eventually, he comes to the conclusion that Dave killed his daughter and plans on taking things into his own hands.

Brad Pitt and Morgan Freeman really knocked it out of the park with this one, making it deserve a spot as one of the best murder mystery movies ever created!

Detective William Somerset (Morgan Freeman) decides to take on one last case with David Mills (Brad Pitt) before he retires. During the investigation, they uncover a string of increasingly disturbing murders and quickly realize they have a serial killer on their hands.

The killer chooses the victims by deciding which one of the seven deadly sins they represent. As the killer continues to toy around with the detectives they both begin to lose their cool.

We would actually love to see this movie remade with a cast like the one in Knives Out or Murder on the Orient Express!
