So together they hatch a plan to escape their captor and risk it all. And it all leads them to the real world which may be just as terrifying as the room they have been trapped in all those years.

2. Apostle

Without a doubt one of the better horror movies to come out in 2018. And it surrounds the abduction of a man’s sister by a religious cult. If you like horror and are looking for a good abduction movie you can kill two birds with one stone by watching this one!

Apostle Movie Description

After returning home, Prodigal son Thomas Richardson (Dan Stevens) learns that his sister has been abducted and is now being held for ransom by a religious cult. Taking matters into his own hands he decides to set out and rescue her no matter the cost. Thomas makes his way to the island which the cult resides in and infiltrates their community. He quickly learns that the community indulges in the very same things they have claimed to reject from regular society. The longer he spends among them the more sinister the secrets he uncovers become.

However, all her attempts have left her in extreme pain and always seem to fail.
