However, this mysterious and secret beach might really be a real location! So for the entire movie, producers were in Australia while filming it. Film-makers did not use any other countries. So, after researching a little we came across some news about the production of the movie. Most of the movie takes place in water with a shark that continues attacking. Well, because of this, most of the filming took place inside a giant pool inside of the Village Roadshow Studios, Oxenford, Queensland, Australia and Village Roadshow Studios, Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia.
However, there was also some filming done outside of the studios! That took place around the New South Wales area of Australia. The beach where we find Nancy walking around is real and it’s just as beautiful as in the movie. For those scenes producers used the Lord Howe Island. Producers also used one last location for the production of the film. For the Tropical Rainforest we see, film-makers used Mount Tamborine, Queensland, Australia.
